Blason de Roncourt

Origin/meaning

The sword is the symbol of the chapter of the Metz cathedral, which owned the estate and village of Roncourt for many centuries. The two crosses are derived from the arms of the Duchy of Bar, in which the village was situated. The base symbolises the local quarries.
