Kultakentässä nouseva, musta, punakielinen pukki, jonka kaulassa hihnastaan riippuva, hopeinen tuohikontti.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 3, 1954.

The goat refer to the old naickname of the village, Kuttukappeli, or Goat-chapel. The birch-bark bag was a symbol for the many day-workers in the area in previous times.
