Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În partea dreaptă, pe fond roșu, se află o crenguță cu frunze de stejar și cu două ghinde, de aur. În partea stângă, pe fond roșu, se află un lotus așezat pe o frunză, de aur. În partea centrală, pe fond albastru, terminat în partea de sus în unghi ascuțit, se află silueta unei biserici de argint, văzută din față, cu un singur turn și cu 6 arcade deasupra ușii de intrare.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 4, 2006.

The oak branch signifies the old Codru al Vlăsiei estate, and the oak represents the symbol of endurance, power and longevity, being associated with the idea of ​​height, of ascension to the sky.

The water lily flower symbolizes the flora of the lake that is located in Ilfov County, being protected by law.

The silhouette of the church represents the stylized image of the Snagov Monastery, built in the 15th century.
