BELLERAY
Département : Meuse
Official blason
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on July 2, 2021.
The golden field, red bend and alerions are the arms of the Lorraine region, in which the village is situated.
The plow is a canting element, Belleray, or Belle-array means 'beautiful furrow traced by the plow'. The base shows the Meuse river and the duck refers to the nickname of the villagers ('ducks').
