Département : Aveyron
Official blason
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in July, 2010.
The pale and chief for the letter T, the initial of the municipality. The chief shows the local bridge, built in 1902. The Maltese Cross indicates that the village was a seat of the Order of St. John ofJerusalem.
The chalice is a symbol for St. Martial and thus symbolises the village of Saint-Martial. The eagle is the symbol of St. John and symbolises the village La-Baraque-Saint-Jean.
