TRAGÖSS

State : Steiermark
District : Bruck an der Mur

Tragoss.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 23, 1969.

The arms depict the mountain range of the Mesnerin and the waters of the Grüner See (Green Lake). The black cauldron hook which the mountain is charged with is taken from the arms of the nunnery at Goess, which owned the lands at Tragöß since the Middle Ages.
