Origin/meaningThe arms are those of the medieval Dukes and Princes of Luxembourg, who owned the vilalge in the 14th and 15th century. The tomb of Jean hennequi of Luxembourg (died 1466) can be seen in the local church. The arms may be decorated with the following medals:
