Origin/meaning

The Monogram ML alludes to Princess Maria Luisa of Parma, Princess of Asturias for which the first Regiment named Princesa was created by King Carlos III.
The scroll bearing the inscription Isabel alludes to the second creation by King Ferdinand VII for his Daughter and heiress Princess Maria Isabel Luisa.
