Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 7, 1991.
Canting arms: they show traditionally a "món" (Catalan for "royal mound"). The colours, Gules and Or, are the ones of the arms of Palafrugell, the municipality Mont-ras belonged to until 1858.
