JASIENICA ROSIELNA
Province: Podkarpackie
County: Brzozów
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on June 10, 2009.
The typical cross is taken from the arms of the Pilawa family clan coat of arms. These arms was used by the Kamieniecki family, which in the 15th century founded three of the four villages in the municipality : Jasienica, Wola Jasienicka and Orzechówka.
The laurel branches were taken from a description of the Jasienica coat of arms, which had city rights from 1727 to 1918. The branches were also visible on the seal of the village of Blizne, used in the 19th century. This way, the coat of arms featurs emblems referring to all four villages of the municipality.
