Origin/meaning

Approved on 26 April 1963. The Steeple symbolises the Steeple of the Partille Church. The Lower part of the shield is from the Arms of the af Sandeberg Family,
this alludes to the Director of the Swedish East India Company David af Sandeberg, who owned the Estate called "Slottet" in Partille.
