Origin/meaning
The arms are those of the Micy Abbey, which played a major role in the local history.
The municipality uses, however, a more elaborate non heraldic emblem :
In this emblem the arms are placed on agricultural land and the Loire river. In the base a vine and a cogwheel for agriculture and industry.
