Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on July 21, 1999.
The first and fourth quarter show the arms of the medieval lords of the area, the Lords of Faucigny. The second and the third quarter refer to the valley in which the municipality is situated. The inescutcheon shows the cross of Savoy.
