Origin/meaning
The arms of the abbey are three blue diamonds on silver. These arms have been used since the early 15th century. In the 18th century the congregation had its own arms, a blue wheel in silver. These two shield were often combined with the family arms of the abbot, see below for Abbots Scheyer and Moser.
