Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on April 2, 2022.
The arms are partly canting; the two green hills symbolise the local hills and the first part of the name (monts), the wavy bar symbolises the Meuse rive. The heron (Héron) is canting for the second half of the name.
The chief is taken from the arms of the Le Preud'homme family, last lords of the village until 1790.
