Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on May 12, 2005.

The arms show a crosier for the Grand Selve Abbey in the area. The wheat sheaf refers to agriculture and the remaining granary of the abbey. The lower half shows the arms of Grenade, to which the village historically belonged.
