Origin/meaning
The arms show the former important road to Kassel, which ran through the village. In the village the road crossed the Fulda river, and in the village was an important ferry. This is symbolised in the arms on the crossing of the two bends. The green colour symbolises nature and, together with the trefoil, agriculture.
