Escut caironat: d'or, un pal vairat d'ondes d'argent i de gules acompanyat a la destra d'una creu de Sant Vicenç en forma de sautor abscís de gules i a la sinistra d'una graella de gules en pal amb el mànec a dalt. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 29, 1989.
The arms show the cross of St. Vincent and the grill of St. Lawrence, the attributes of the saints to whom are dedicated the two main romanesque churches in the municipality. The central pale shows the arms of the bishops of Girona, who owned the village.
