NO 842 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First formed in 1943 at Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent as a Torpedo-Bomber-reconnaissance Squadron. Later an Anti Submarine Warfare Squadron with Marlets operation from the Azores. Disbanded in 1945.
