Origin/meaning
Cpatain Cook discoverd New Zealand in 1767 in the first HMS Endeavour. The Stars are from the New Zealand National Flag. The Motto which translates as Nothing unattempted is from a Medal struck for Cook in 1769. The Badge was approved in 1919.
