English | A pterodactyl rising from rocks. Motto: In principio et semper. |
Origin/meaning
The Pterodactyl an acient flying creature symbolises the Station's role in the Begining of Military Flying in the UK. The Rock symbolises the nearby Stonehege. The Latin Motto translates as "In the beginning and always". The Badge was approved in December 1955.
