Origin/meaning

The two towers in the arms refer to the Tour du Breuil tower and the Pouvard castle in the municipality. The chestnut leaf refers to the many chestnuts in the local forests and the hamlet la Marrronnière (marron=chstnut). The nails are canting for the village Clouas. The key (clef) is canting for the Clé d'Or area of Dignac.
