Escut caironat: d'or, un bordó de pelegrí de sable posat en pal que porta una carbassa de pelegrí ataronjada lligada d'argent el travesser; ressaltant sobre una faixa ondada abaixada d'atzur. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 18th December 1986.

The pilgrim's staff is an attribute of St. James, the local patron saint. The wavy bar below symbolizes the river Llierca.
