ISTRIA (CONSTANȚA)

District/county (județ) : Constanța

Stema Istria (Constanța)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 23, 2013.

The chief represents the fortress of Histria. The cross bell symbolizes the Orthodox church "Holy Trinity - St. Nicholas" in the town, a historical monument.

The dolphin is a symbol from the seal of the Histria fortress.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
