English Blue; per fess barry of three silver an escutheon charged with a lion's mask gold.

Motto: Pro aris et focis.

Origin/meaning

Volunteers where called for during Napeoleon's Invasion Threat to keep Watch (the Shield) over the English Channel (Wavelets). The Motto translates as "For hearths and homes". The badge was approved in 1919.
