History: Formed at Chedburgh in June 1943.

In front of a demi pegasus gules winged argent, cuped a flash of lightning argent.
Motto: Dona ferentes adsumus
Origin/meaning
The badge symbolises the Role of the Squadron - Carrying Paratroops, Glider Towing and dropping Supplies and Bombing. The Motto translates as "We are come bringing light". The Badge was granted in June 1945.
