Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 11, 2011.

The cross symbolizes Christian faith as well as the decorative motifs found on ancient gold pieces, found in the area.

The oak leaves with acorns symbolise the rich forests of the area. The horse head refers to the ancient remains discovered in the area (Baita), as well as to traditional agriculture.
