Revision as of 09:09, 16 June 2024 by Knorrepoes (talk | contribs) (Text replacement - "''' :" to "''':")
Country: Gabon Province: Haut-Ogooué |
French | D'or au rencontre de buffle de sable lampassé de gueules, au chef du même chargé d'une divise ondée d'argent. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The golden field represents the savannah and indicates that the Léconi district is the only one comprising almost entirely savannahs. The buffalo is typical of the district.
The wavy bend in chief symbolizes the Ogooué river which, in its upper course, crosses the district and gave its name to the Haut-Ogooué province.
