REGENCÓS
Region : Catalonia
Province : Girona
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 25th February 1997.
The medieval walled enclosure is reminded on the arms by the towered wall; in fact, two towers have remained until now in the village. Regencós belonged to the Cruïlles family, barons of Peratallada; the canting arms of the Cruïlles (powdered with crosslets Argent on Gules) are shown here.
