Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În câmp albastru se află o cruce treflată, de argint, flancată de două ramuri de stejar cu ghinde, de aur, care se întretaie în partea de jos. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 25, 2008.

The cross symbolizes the Cotmeana monastery. The oak branches represent the forest richness of the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune. Literature:
