The arms were officially granted on January 15, 2018.

The gold ingot covered by the cap of Mercury, the Roman god of trade and commerce, possibly alludes to the protection the company offered through reinsurance.

The motto means “Safety through many” and alludes to the purpose of the firm as a reinsurance company.
