Official blazon
Slovak V modrom štíte dvoma zlatými striebroplodými vavrínovými ratolesťami ovenčená strieborná ryba v zlatej zbroji, prevýšená zlatou, rubínmi a perlami zdobenou korunou.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 9, 2001.

The fish (ryba) is a canting element. The branches are taken from the 19th century seal of the village and the crown refers to the arms of the Užská family, to whom the village historically belonged.

Literature: Kartous and Vrteľ, 2003
