Official blazon

Shield:Gules, two palets Argent (Silver Gray) surmounted by an isosceles triangle counterchanged.
Crest:That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Missouri Army National Guard:From a wreath Argent and Gules, a grizzly bear rampant Proper.
Motto:Velox suscipio (Fast support with purpose and direction).

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Decription:A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in heigt overall blazoned as follows:Gules, two palets Argent (Silver Gray) surmounted by an isosceles triangle counterchanged. Attached below the device, a Blue scroll inscribed "VELOX SUSCIPIO" in Silver.

Origin/meaning

The Triangle symbolises strangth, stability and the mission of the Unit. The two pales denote military strength, combined with the triangle illustrates "311" the Unit's numerical designation.

The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia, was both approved on 3 October 2007.
