Punaisessa kentässä hopeinen, kultavaruksinen kukko pidellen oikeassa jalassaan hopeista kovelia.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 26, 1961.

The arms show a rooster as the village is famous for breeding chicken. The rooster holds a tool in his front claw, which is a symbol for the local woodwork tradition.
