Sköld genom en fjällskura, bildande trenne berg, delad av guld, varifrån vart berg uppväxer ett förbränt svart träd, och av svart, vari fem klöverblad av guld, ordnade tre och två.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 27, 1953.

The arms show a mountain with pine trees, which is taken from the seal of the Sotholm härad, to which the area historically belonged, known since 1571. The trefoils were added as a symbol for the agricultural character of the municipality.
