Diocese of Caguas

|
English | Silver, the monogram of Jesus or, encircled by a nimbus radiant and flamoyant, of the second. |
Origin/meaning
The arms were designed and approved in 1965.
The arms show the symbol of Jesus (IHS) as the cathedral of Caguas is devoted to him. The colours are silver and gold, which is against the heraldic rule of tincture, but an exception was made as Caguas had as its first bishop the first native born Puerto Rican.
