SENATE OF VIRGINIA

Arms (crest) of Senate of Virginia
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 10, 1979 by the College of Arms in London, but only officially adopted by the senate on January 22, 1981.

The arms are based on the arms of Virginia with typical local supporters and a new motto. Also a chairman's hammer was added on the cross.
