Official blazon
English Barry wavy of fourteen white and blue; a torteau charged with a hunting horn stringed white suspended from a rose also white within a wreath of laurel leaved gold.

Motto: Quid non venerabilis audet.


Origin/meaning

Admiral Duncan (1731-1804) defeated the Dutch at Camperdown in 1797 when his Flagship was Venerable. He was ennobled and took the Name Viscount Duncan of Camperdown. The Rose and Horn are from His Arms. The Badge was approved in 1944.
