Official blazon

Escut caironat: d'atzur, un mont de penyes d'or movent de la punta acompanyat al cap d'una mola d'argent a la destra i d'una palma d'or posada en pal enfilant una corona de llorer d'argent a la sinistra. Per timbre una corona mural de vila.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 12th February 1991.

The arms show a millstone and a laurel wreath with a palm, the attributes of the martyrdom of St. Feliu (or Felix), the local patron saint. Felix was a 4th century martyr that was thrown to the sea with a millstone tied to his neck. The mount of rocks is a canting sign, "codines" meaning literally in Catalan "rocks".
