Escudo de prata, com uma cruz antiga de Santiago de vermelho, carregada nas bases do florênciado por quatro vieiras de ouro e de uma esfera armilar do mesmo metal no cruzamento. A cruz acantoada por quatro cachos de uvas de púrpura, folhados e sustidos de verde. Em contra-chefe duas faixas ondadas de azul. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " VILA DE ALCOCHETE ", de negro.
