Escut caironat: d'or, una vall de sinople; el peu ondat d'atzur sostenint una faixa d'argent i carregat d'un roc d'or. Per timbre, una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 12th May 1982.

Canting arms: they show a valley ("vall" in Catalan). The wavy bar at the base symbolizes the Riera de Vall-llobrega that flows through the village, and the chess rook Or on Azure is taken from the arms of the Requesens, counts of Palamós; Vall-llobrega belonged to this county.
