EHRENHAUSEN

State : Steiermark
District : Leibnitz

Ehrenhausen.jpg

Origin/meaning :
There is no formal grant on record. However, the raven is most certainly taken from the arms of the princes of Eggenberg, who were the landlords of Ehrenhausen castle. The castle survives to this day. There is also a church, where members of the family were buried.
