Pichlp.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 21st, 1987.

The village lies at the border between the Austrian states of Salzburg and Styria. This border has existed since (at least) the 12th century. So, the Styrian Panther (which is coloured black, as it was before 1200) mounts the guard at the border wall.
