Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on July 3, 1989.
The main charge of the arms is the Feuerlilie (orange lily), which can be found frequently in the municipality. Besides, the lily is a symbol of Our Lady. In the municipality, there is a chapel Maria Schutz. The flanks symbolise the deep woods.
