State : Salzburg
District : Zell am See

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on February 20, 1929.

The arms show an ibex, a typical animal for the high mountains in the municipality. The point also symbolises these mountains, especially the Grossvenediger, Austria's second highest mountain. The ibex and the ball are also taken from the arms of the medieval Lords of Neukirchen.
