Official blazon

Escudo de verde, campanário de três arcos de prata, lavrado de negro, com os sinos de ouro, entre dois cachos de uvas de ouro, folhados de prata e uma roda dentada de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ TELÕES - AMARANTE “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 9, 2001.

The arms show part of the local church, a national monument since 1977 and the oldes building in the parish. The grapes and the cogwheel symbolise the importance of viticulture and industry for the local economy.
