PIŁAWA GÓRNA

Province: Dolny Śląsk
County: Dzierżoniów

Arms of Piława Górna

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 22, 2009.

The arms show the eagle of Lower Silezia in which the town is situated. The three benches represent the meeting of three Silesian princes in the town.

The previous arms were officially adopted on May 25, 1979, see below.

The arms symbolise the town's location at the junction of three historical duchies : Brzeg, Świdnicki and Ziębice.
