Crests: 1. That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Georgia Army National Guard: From a wreath Or and Gules, a boar's head Gules, in the mouth an oak branch Vert fructed of the first.
Origin/meaning
As the Regiment is made up of units from both the National Guards of Georgia and Louisiana two crests are displayed the Boars head for Georgia and the Pelican for Louisiana.
