Official blazon

Shield: Vert, on a pedestal a representation of the Greek Mythological god, Hercules (Atlas), supporting on his shoulders a globe argent. Crest: On a wreath of the color argent and vert, in front of a pair of double open-end wrenches crossed in saltire or, a spearhead proper with a Flory at the top divided per pale gules and of the second. Motto: Maintien le droit (Support the Right).

Origin/meaning

The Figure of Hercules (Atlas) symbolizes the Maintenance role of the Battalion. The Spearhead and fleur-de-lis symbolizes World War II service in Europe with the 3rd Armoured Division (The Spearhead Division). The Wrenches symbolize the Maintenance function. Grant of Arms given 21 January 1976.
