History: Raised in 1759 as 15th Light Dragoons, or Eliott's Light Horse become in 1807 15th (King's) Hussars. In 1901 15th The King's Hussars. In 1922 amalgamated with [[19th (Queen Alexandra's Own Royal) Hussars, British Army]] to form 15th/19th Hussars.
